Elo Ratings Table
Track each team's performance throughout the season, using their Elo score. Scores are updated after each game.
How to read this:
A higher score means better recent form and a stronger position for finals
success. A rising line is a team on the way up. A falling line is one
trending the wrong way.

Last Round's Elo Movers
How each team's rating changed after Fri 28 Aug – Sun 30 Aug.
How the rating works
Every team's line starts at 1500 and moves after each result, based on the gap between what was expected and what actually happened. That expectation comes from both teams' ratings, plus a small home-ice edge. A win moves a line up, and a loss moves it down, but not by a fixed amount. Beating a higher-rated team pushes the line up more than beating a weaker one. Losing to a weaker team drops it further than losing to a stronger one. Comfortable regulation wins carry more weight than narrow ones. Overtime or shootout results only move the line a little, since both teams were tied after regulation.
